38 weeks!

No picture, since I look the same at 37 weeks!

Anyway, I am still feeeling good, and still sewing.

Nights are horrible I admit.
3 words---Pubis Symphysis Dysfunction. Go ahead and google it. It has to be the worst pregnancy ailment ever.

Kevin offered to go to the fabric store with me today! I think he is nervous about me going into labor. He usually hates to go in there.

I have some sewing to do too. Knowing I have to do nothing to fix lunch AND dinner is a nice relief. Actually, I could probably go a week without cooking with the amount of food we have left.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I am still pregnant. I thought I was showing signs of labor earlier in the week but they died down.

My inlaws are here for the holiday from NY and my brothers and family will be here for dinner today. Emily is so excited that we are having a "party".

Kevin took Poppi to work with him yesterday for his CO's change of command. Poppi loved it! He said there sure was a lot of "brass" there.

36 weeks 5 days

Considered my 37 week check up.

I am 1cm dilated. He didnt even mention efacement so I assume I am thick :(
Since I am caught up (finally) on sewing I will be able to spend more time walking to progress things. Plus I sure could use the exercise!!

Doc also did say the baby is head down, so that was great news.

Covered Button Tutorial

I use these for shoulder buttons on my dresses, but you could make them for so many other things! Pacifier holders, shoe laces, badge reals, pony tail holders... the list goes on!
They come in many sizes and are very easy to make.

Monogram your fabric if needed.

Place Rubber form directly over monogram

Carefully turn it over and push the button
into the form then trimming the fabric.

Using the included pusher, push down the back
of the button into the button. I like to use a spool
of thread for leverage.

There you have your covered button!

Insert a pony tail holder if desired!

An update!

Well, lots has changed since I posted back in December!!

I am pregnant.. actually almost done being pregnant! I am almost 37 weeks along so this baby will be making an entrance soon!!

My husbands last deployment did it for me. While he was away I realized that I wanted another baby. So, in March we conceived!
We are all very excited to add this precious addition to our lives. Emily is looking forward to being a big sister! I still am in shock, as I still look at her as my baby, though she is almost 4! Time sure does fly!

Wow! its been awhile!

I am going to try to keep up my blog... we will see!
